If work is to be carried out in or around a NUZ distributor that generates dust, the following options are available:
- If the building is undergoing total reconstruction and no mains power is required:
Remove the switch, carry out the work, clean the distribution board, install the switch.
- If the building is basically still in operation, but the work can be carried out in a concentrated manner once outside the operating hours:
Switch off the switch (no network in the building), pack the switch in an airtight bag, carry out the work, clean the distribution board, unpack the switch, clean it, switch it on.
- When the work cannot be concentrated at one time, or when the network must be available at all times:
Planning of overpressure ventilation of the switch, enclosure of the switch with dust-free fresh air supply and exhaust air, carrying out the work, cleaning of the distributor, unpacking of the switch.
The University of Zurich does not accept any dust protection devices. It is the responsibility of the companies involved to implement a suitable solution.
