Manage passwords in Identity Manager

Identity Manager allows you to manage your passwords for many UZH IT services, such as semester registration, module booking, Microsoft 365 (M365), and e-learning.

Accessing Identity Manager and logging in

  • Access Identity Manager:
    www.identity.uzh.ch 
  • Log in with your primary email address (sender address) and password.

Tip: Problems logging in?

If that doesn't work:

  1. Open a ticket: support@zi.uzh.ch
  2. Call: 044 63 43333
  3. Use the walk-in service 
    (Schönberggasse 2, Mon–Fri 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) 

Change Password

  1. In Identity Manager, click on «Change password».
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter a new password.
  4. Please note the four password rules:
    • At least 8 characters
    • At least one number
    • At least one special character
    • Upper and lower case letters 
  5. Click on «Submit»

Note:

This Identity Manager password is also used to change other accounts in Identity Manager. 

Select IT Services

Select the services for which you want to change your password, e.g.: 

  • Active Directory
  • Identity Management
  • or all services
