Licenses for More Than 300 Participants

With the standard Zoom license, you can host meetings with up to 300 participants. For larger events, the University of Zurich (UZH) provides additional webinar and meeting licenses.

Requesting Additional Licenses

Additional licenses must be requested in advance using a form submitted to MELS/AV Services.
Once approved, the license will be assigned to a user account.

Overview of Available Additional Licenses

Webinar 500

• Valid for a limited period, at most until the end of the respective semester
• Extensions are only possible in exceptional cases

Webinar 3000

• The license is assigned only for the time of the event
• After the event ends, it is automatically released

Large Meeting 1000

• Granted as needed for individual days or events
• Due to limited capacity, an early request is recommended
