About us

Working together with the decentralized IT managers of the institutes, the UZH Central IT department’s primary task is to ensure that all of the members of the university are provided with the necessary IT resources.

While the decentralized organizations mainly take care of the respective workplace infrastructure as well as subject-specific applications and systems, Central IT is responsible for the provision of comprehensive services (including networks, central systems, strategic applications, student services and support).
