Deleting Recordings

For financial reasons, records will be deleted if:

• a lecture series recorded over the course of one semester (usually 13 recordings) has been viewed less than 100 times per year, starting from the third year after recording, or
• the individual event (e.g. congresses, occasions) has been viewed fewer than 10 times per year, starting from the third year after recording

Recordings to be deleted will be “depublished” by MELS from the fourth year onwards, i.e. they will no longer be visible to users. At the same time, MELS will inform the corresponding clients that the recordings concerned will be irrevocably deleted without further notice, unless a request for republication is filed within six months.
