SMART Podium, Interactive Pen Display
The SMART Podium is a 24" interactive pen display.
At the University of Zurich, it is used in lecture halls within shared teaching spaces.
Features and Use
- You work on the touch-sensitive display using a pen.
- You can annotate presentations, edit or highlight digital content and make notes directly visible on the projection screen.
Operation

Connect your device via HDMI and USB using the cables provided in the lecture hall.
- The integrated Windows Ink feature enables full use of the SMART Podium pen functions. (Windows only)
Training
Before first use, we recommend a short introduction (approx. 15 minutes) provided by AV Services.

Important Notes
- PowerPoint presentations with animations may cause display issues.
We recommend using PDF documents instead. - For annotations, use the software PDF Annotator (Windows only).
PDF Annotator (Windows only)
The paid software PDF Annotator allows you to open PDF files directly, highlight content, and add annotations or comments. For procurement and installation, please contact your IT coordinator.
