Desktop video conferencing is the optimal solution for online meetings or conferences with presentations on your computer, and is optimized for one person per room, each with a headset.
In addition to MS Teams also provides Zoom as a desktop videoconferencing tool.
We recommend various systems for conducting hybrid sessions in your institute's own rooms. Here you will find more information.
We are happy to loan you a table microphone (please see Equipment rental). If you regularly hold video conferences, it is usually worth buying your own table microphone.
We recommend conference microphones from the following manufacturers:
Jabra: recommended model – SPEAK 410, approx. CHF 100
ClearOne: recommended model – CHAT 50 USB, approx. CHF 200

ZOOM offers online meetings for up to 300 participants via Campus Licensing and a limited number of licenses for webinars for up to 500, 1000 or 3000 participants. ZOOM is a suitable solution for lecturers to use in their teaching for seminars or lectures.
