Online Collaboration

The University of Zurich offers its members various tools to facilitate electronic collaboration and communication.

• Office 365 is available to all employees and students. It includes:
  • Microsoft Teams for chats, online meetings, notes, and file sharing
  • Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint – online and installable locally
  • OneNote, Outlook, and other Microsoft tools 

• Microsoft Teams is the central platform for collaboration – ideal for group projects, courses, or meetings.

Registration & installation:

• Sign up for Microsoft 365 UZH 
• Install Office 365 locally

Desktop video conferencing systems are available for online meetings and presentations.
They are especially optimized for individual users per location (using a headset).
