Central IT has developed its own app to accompany members of the UZH in their everyday life at the University of Zurich. In addition to the UZH Now app, apps are being developed and published by various units at the University of Zurich.

UZH Now is an app that makes everyday life at UZH easier for students, staff, and faculty. The app includes
- Timetable: Students can view and manage their personal timetable directly in the app.
- Room finder: The app shows users the location of buildings and rooms.
- Events: The app provides an overview of current and upcoming university events.
- Cafeteria menus: Users can view the menus of the cafeterias at the various locations.
- Library information: The app shows the opening hours of the libraries and allows users to check the availability of resources such as workspaces and books.
- News and announcements: UZH Now provides regular updates on the latest news, important events, and announcements from the university.
- Contact information: The app gives you quick access to important university contacts and services.
