Natel go Wifi Calling

Natel go Wifi Calling

When the wireless calls feature is turned on, you can make and receive voice calls over a wireless network if network reception is weak or non-existent. This service is only active if you have received an SMS about the availability of Advanced Calling. Please note that you must establish a WLAN connection.

Furthermore, thanks to Wifi Calling, it is possible to make your mobile phone calls via almost any WLAN access.

Modern and well insulated buildings often act as barriers to mobile phone reception. Wifi Calling solves this problem: customers can use their mobile phones at home even if reception is poor. But also outside the home, Wifi Calling ensures good connections wherever customers have access to a WLAN network. Calls are now also possible in hotel rooms or in the basement - even without a mobile phone network.

With Wifi Calling, the smartphone automatically selects the WLAN network for calls when it offers the best connection. Wifi calling is available for all current Natel go subscriptions and is charged like a normal mobile phone call.

Please note that Wifi calling currently only works in Switzerland.

Please note that not all mobiles are supported, even if you find a possible mobile on the list. Swisscom gives no guarantee that the new features are supported. Mobiles can reach their suppliers via a variety of channels. Please ask the supplier of your mobile whether it supports Swisscom Wifi Calling. If you want to be sure, you must order the mobile via the Telephony group.

WifI calling must be activated on your mobile. You can find more information in your user manual.

In principle, Wifi calling can be used at UZH.

Unfortunately, the feature does not work in every WLAN network. This mainly depends on the settings of the WLAN operator. We cannot provide support in case of problems.
