The software "evaexam" is available to members of the UZH for the digital evaluation of paper exams.

With evaexam you create and evaluate your paper exam independently. Due to the effort involved, we recommend registration only with closed question types (single choice, multiple choice, etc.) for a minimum of 50 participants.

• Decision on who is responsible for test creation and verification (manual correction)
• Decision as to whether individualized or non-individualized Examination forms are used
• Create test sheet, incl. scoring and recording of correct answers
• Set up and conduct test check
• Set up sharp test
• Create instruction sheet based on template
• Correctly format and import list of participants from Excel in CSV format
• Print exam sheets or have them printed, e.g. at a print shop
• Bring examination to be scanned (from mid-December 2023 → Westpark, Pfingstweidstrasse 60)
• Verify sheets (messy crosses and corrections need to be corrected manually in Evaexam. This task may take several hours depending on the number of examinees, questions and corrections. Additional people may also be called in).

• The digital checklist (MS Lists; in German) contains all steps and information for the digital evaluation of your paper examination.
• DownloadCheckliste Papierpruefung.csv
  • Login to https://www.microsoft.com/de-ch/microsoft-365/microsoft-lists with UZH account
  • Click on "+ New list " , choose "From CSV".
  • Select the corresponding .csv-file
  • Adapt the column types:
    • Column "Erledigt" - Yes/No
    • Column "Abgeschlossen"- Date
    • All other columns remain as text columns.
