Connecting External Instructors

As the instructor, you are at home, in your office, in a hotel or at another acoustically suitable location and will hold your lecture from your computer (audio via headset plus camera image and/or presentation). Your students attend from the normal lecture room, with your camera image and/or presentation alongside audio available through the room's AV system. This setup limits student interaction, e.g. asking questions, and thus requires a moderator in the lecture room who operates the video conference with their own laptop.

We further recommend that you hold a test conference between your notebook and the computer at UZH in advance of your lecture, ensuring that you are familiar with the interface and workflow of this type of video conference solution.
